A couple more recycled paint palette octopi.  Actually the green octo was my first attempt at using a brush ink pen over acrylic and I like how it turned out so much I actually started planning more and making an effort when I was done with a color to kind of give me a unique background to work with.

Earthquake Octopus

Been a crazy couple days up here in Anchorage, Alaska.  For those that haven't heard we had a really big earthquake a couple days ago.  Enough so that I got a long weekend, maybe even longer depending on how bad the damage at my office is. But that's also given me time to dig out the old art supplies and work on a couple pieces.  First up is the aptly named Earthquake Octopus.

Blackest Night is a donation to my offices silent auction.  And the seascape is a 4 piece work that will be given out our holiday get together with my friends.  With my in-laws visiting we needed, or rather I decided to add a piece of original art for all of us for our white elephant gift exchange.
